When the notice had gone up about a creature hunt, Emmeline had determined to go immediately. She was typically out on the grounds anyway, either playing with Sirius in the nursery or visiting other creatures in the main barn. One thing made her slightly unsure about this whole thing, though -- Derf had told her Professor Myers was a Dark wizard. This made her reluctant to spend any extra time with the Herbology professor, but she thought today would be okay because there were lots of people around and Professor Wayland would be here too.

"Hi, Professors!", Emmeline chirped as she neared the group outside the greenhouses. Spotting Derf, she moved over immediately to see him.

"Hey, Derf. How's Picketta?" She hoped the little bowtruckle was doing okay, but she supposed she must be with Derf looking after her. She wished they could get their baby creatures together to play, but Sirius still chased everything that moved and a cruppy would probably either scare Picketta or get swiped at by her. Neither was a good option. She wondered what her friend thought of being out here with a Dark wizard.
