Popcorn popped. Skylar glanced over to see how Olivia was going with the mixture, which seemed to going great, which meant time to add the mixture to the popcorn. Only... a hot butter bubble burst and splattered up, catching Skylar off guard as it splatted onto her dress. "EEeeeee" Goodness, what was it with Olivia and attracting hot things on her. First fire seeds, now hot butter?

Thankfully, it was only her ~~robes~~ pretty dress, but still. "I don't think water on a burn is good. Oooohhh what about that cooling spell the Professor taught us? That we were supposed to use on the popcorn?" Yup, brilliant idea, except they might get frostbite, but maybe she should try it on her robes first?

"Frigidus," she said, aiming her wand at her scalded dress, in the M shape. "Um... Olivia? I think my front is froze from my cold dress?" Okay, maaybeee that wasn't such a good idea.
