See, Matt was ready to move on. As in move on and ignore her for the rest of his life, probably. Something like that. Sounded doable.

Unless she kept doing what she just did.

Which, by the way, wasn't just speaking to him, but accusing him too. He felt his blood immediately boil as he turned around to face her. "Are you for real??" He asked incredulously. "After all YOU said and done, I'm the one who needs to apologise?"

So Matt had heard how ridiculous and unreasonable Slytherin ~~girls~~ could be, but he wasn't expecting it to be to that extreme. "I'm hoping you didn't come all the way up here to get me to apologise. If you did, let me save you some breath and time," unlike someone he knew had done to him, "and tell you that I won't be doing any of that." Blunt Matt could be blunt some other ways too, and he was having none of it.
