"So it'll just be two of you today, right?" Atticus glanced over at Nat as he began setting up the mixing table. He was aware of some of the things going on with her and her band, though he had enough going on with himself that he probably didn't remember any details.
Ah, and there was the other girl now. Lily, wasn't it? Atticus wasn't nearly as familiar with her as he was with Nat, but he heard her name enough times to at least remember that much. "I just have a few more settings to adjust, then I think we need to do a sound check just to make sure." He had a good idea where everything needed to be, but it was never completely certain until they got started and he saw where he needed to adjust. But Lily would have a few extra minutes to get set up before they needed to get started.
