As soon as he had thought about not hearing anyone, Rooney did hear someone. Ayyyyyy. He shot up to stand at the voice, spinning around to look at who it was. "Misterrrrrr Kennedy, hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" For some reason, the Ravenclaw had jumped to cover-up mode as if he had been caught doing something he shouldn't have been. Which he hadn't, for the record. And his worse fears were eased instantly when the librarian asked about his shoes. "OH!" He laughed, brushing his hand against the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Tripped over my laces, Sir. Didn't break anything, though." All of the books were still in their walls and correct places.

"How are you finding Hogwarts, Sir?"
