Kalen slowly backed up as he eyed the way he had just come, the book wasn't in the third nook like he had thought it had been, nor was it in the middle of the maze, to the left of the chairs, which would have been a sensible place to put it.
The librarian slowly turned around and started to walk back toward the entrance of the maze, perhaps he had gotten turned around when he had walked in?
Deciding that he had, Kalen started to move a bit quicker when he rounded a corner and noticed someone uhh.. kneeling there?
Oh! It was the Head Boy! A smile came over Kalen's face as he walked towards the boy, he was careful to make some noise, in order to not startle the boy, as he approached.
"Hello Head Boy Bronwyn! " Kalen said with a smile. "Shoe trouble?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow. Leon had been over the moon when he had heard who the Head Boy was, and Kalen had to endure listen to his nephew talk about him for a fair few moments. |
