Shay arrived at the Gryffindor table and surveyed the scene. Interestingly enough, just about everyone there seemed to be about her age. This was good. Lots of people to meet, friends to make and fun to be had. Now where to sit, that was the question. Noticing two friendly looking girls she hoped (Noelle and Ava), she walked over to them.

"Hi, I'm Shay", she said. "Mind if I sit here?" The newly minted Gryffindor noticed a badge on one of the girl's robes. Yes, it seemed that she was definitely someone that Shay needed to know........being new and all. And now, let the adventure begin.
