Slate tapped a finger against his chin with a thoughtful expression. "Maybe I should start splitting the list with people in my year. Each of us would only buy a few of the books so none of us would have to haul all of them everywhere."

It was a brilliant and perfect plan.

He shook his head. "Never does. My step brother actually just drops me off usually." he said shrugging a shoulder. Not that he minded. He actually preferred being here by himself.

He nodded slowly. "Yeah. I think someone in my house knows how to do that." And he'd ask. For Mew's sake.
