Coming down from his room with his arms hugging himself and the obvious bulge in his shirt....that was moving. Freezing on the last step, Derf gaped at the accumulating crowd in the common room and considered sloooowly backing away back towards his room to wait for the crowd to disperse.
But there was a Hazel here and he really REALLY wanted her to see what he had under his shirt.
So in the end he did absolutely nothing other than stand there wide eyed and obvious while something continued to move about under his shirt.
