Cypress nodded, not saying anything really about his surname. Yeah, every time he said it, someone had to make a comment. He just shrugged about it. Macnair. It left such a bitter taste in other people's mouth, but not his own. He was proud of his name, of what their family had become. Their union with the Toussaints and everything...

"Val," Cypress smiled and shook his hand a little before nodding eagerly. "Oh, really?" Another Mysteries person! "It seems...pretty cool, to be honest, and I don't really know what to expect from the department. I don't know if I can handle the secrecy either..." he told his sister EVERYTHING after all? "Do you have issues with that? The secret part?" he asked curiously.

And he smiled broadly. "I did...in June. So I'm pretty new to...even having a job, really. A real one, anyway."
