Work offered a needed break from it and the work event a chance to have some easy fun for a night. And it was always fun to meet and get to know new people especially the real characters.

Claudette checked herself in, got her new ID tag and smiled at it happy that very soon the text would say Mrs Auditore on it. and her free swag bag. She was curious to know what the bag contained this year, but first she needed to find something to eat. She had promised Luc that they were going to be meeting up by the food buffet after he had fulfilled some auror duties.

Grabbing a plate the blond soon found herself right next to her boss Erec that was filling his plate with everything in sight. Beaming broadly at him Claudette almost even hugged him as she greeted giddy with happiness. "Happy new year boss! Did you have a nice christmas vacation?"
