They got to actually get the fire seeds from the bushes now? oh wow! That was so cool. Okay so Hattie would admit that she was a little worried. She was going to put her hand into flames, which was a little scary. But she knew that Professor Myers wouldn't make them do anything that was bad for them, and they had their gloves too. So Hattie knew that they would be safe. Still she carefully watched the professor as he plucked a seed from the bush. she wanted to make sure she did it right, so that she wouldn't get burnt. She couldn't have burnt fingers. Then she wouldn't be able to do her art work.

Now it was her turn! She carefully carried her bucket a little closer to one of the bushes and set it down on the floor. First she needed to heat up the bucket, so that the three fire seeds that she plucked wouldn't go out! That would be quite bad. She got her wand out, and performed the wand movement, being careful to make sure she only moved her wrist. she combined that with the incantation "Chaw-den-sis" and she had nice warm bucket.

Now to approach the bush. Biting her lip, and concentrating, Hattie stepped closer. it was now and or never!
