Post Harry Potter film extras cast in J.K. Rowling's 'The Cormoran Strike Mysteries' drama

Filming is currently underway in London for the first installment in J.K. Rowling's BBC and HBO TV series, The Cormoran Strike Mysteries, and several actors have reportedly been revealed as cast for the first three episodes that will span the adaptation of the first book, The Cuckoo's Calling.

Elarica Johnson, the Muggle waitress in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, was cast as slain supermodel Lula Landry, the character around which the first book is explored.

Kerr Logan has been cast as Matthew Cunliffe, the fiance of Robin Ellacott (played by Holliday Grainger in the series).

Bronson Webb, who played a Slytherin extra in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, will take on the role of Evan Duffield, Lula's on-off boyfriend and famous actor.

Leo Bill will play John Bristow, brother of the slain Lula Landry.
Others reportedly cast include: Tezlym Senior-Sakutu as Rochelle Onifade (Lula's friend); Martin Shaw as Tony Landry (Lula's uncle); and Siân Phillips as Lady Yvette Bristow, Lula and John's mother.

J.K. Rowling, under the Robert Galbraith pseudonym Twitter handle, released a few on-set photos from The Cuckoo's Calling on Wednesday, including the studio of artist Guy Somé (played by actor Kadiff Kirwan), and a shot on camera of Strike himself, portrayed by Tom Burke. The series will air on the BBC in the U.K. and HBO in the U.S. later this year.
