Maxton had to think for a minute or two. Saturday morning... Did he have any plans? The only plans he ever had were with his books. Maybe his set of Gobstones too. They could wait until the afternoon though. "Saturday morning it is," he nodded excitedly. "That's if I haven't been given a pile of homework to do by then." Homework or Giant Squid, he didn't mind which activity. Both were great ways to spend a Saturday!
The First Year nodded at Daisy's suggestion to send an owl to Mum or Dad. If they ever needed anything answered, Mum or Dad always knew the answer. Well, mostly Mum. Dad... Not so much.
"Orion still isn't back," he'd sent a letter a few days ago. He'd kept his promise and had been writing regularly. "I'll let him have a rest and use one of the Hogwarts owls." Orion was getting on a bit now and it took him longer to recover between journeys. But those Hogwarts owls liked to bite his fingers.
