The girl dove straight in and picked herself up a doughnut which inspired him to also grab something. It wasn't the vanilla flavour he had so hoped for, but it was chocolate and he had no problem with chocolate. In fact, Rooney looooooved chocolate. Fancied it, too.
"Whats yours like?"
"Mmm," Ava said.
"It's yummy. I love cinnamon." She popped the rest in her mouth and returned her attention to the table of treats.
"Vanilla, now that shouldn't be too hard to find." She picked up a cupcake and had a bite of it.
"This one tastes like orange."
It occurred to her that it might be worth introducing herself. She'd been so busy watching and taking everything in, she hadn't had many introductions so far.
"I'm Ava, by the way."
