Colt eyed Brent and wondered why he looked hesitant to shake his hand. It is not like he would bite the kid. He might have tricked him and maybe slipped his hand away. But he was better than that. He was impressed he transferred from Ilvermorny. "Just curious.." he began. "Why did you want to come to Hogwarts? I heard Ilvermorny is a good school.." He heard the rumors from his cousins back home in New York. "Ah thanks mate.." he said looking down at his badge. "Gives you some power I'll tell you that. It sometimes intimidates the first years.." he said eyeing some of them. Man they were tiny.
He turned his attention to the man next to him. Oh right his name was Oliver. "Oh man I'm sorry. I am terrible with names. Yeah the common room is so huge I mean I am usually in my own little world anyways." He was either reading a book or out and exploring the castle. He loved being on the Hogwarts grounds and seeing the creatures. "So man was your summer good? Met any hot chicks?" Come on give him something.
Once he saw Oliver draw his attention away from him, he saw a familiar face. Wasn't she one of Juliette's friends (Katerina). She seemed to be since she was wearing yellow robes. Ah right the Hufflepuffs. "Hey.." he greeted her with her name slipping away from him as he speaks. "Yeah I know crazy right? I gotta look after the little rugrats.." he said pointing to some firsties at the table. "Did you see Juliette over there at all?" he asked being the curious boyfriend he was. "Also how was your summer?" he asked not making it all about Juliette. But come on who was he kidding.
