Benton got to come too. And I’ve been super busy with Quidditch too. You’re going to come to a game, right?” He really liked it when friends came to watch. It made playing even better.
“Nice to meet you, too, JP.” Henry gave the younger boy a smile and reached for his extended hand to shake it. Oh, first year? The fifteen year old might have guessed it, but one could never be too sure and he didn’t like to assume. He also wondered what JP might be short for. “Yep, this is a great place for a break. Going to get some ice cream? It’s the best here.” Henry grinned again before taking another bite of his chocolate frog ice cream. The other boy probably knew that anyway. Unless he was muggleborn or just moved here, Henry would guess that he had probably already visited Florian’s at some point in his life.
J.P. Shook the boys hand and sat down. "I hear the Ice Cream is good. I've had it before I think. So, what's it like? My dad has told me so many stories about it. He was a Gryffindor. My mother was a Ravenclaw." J.P. was excited to hear about where he'd spend so much of his time. This boy looked really nice. It would be cool to have an older person as a friend in the big school.
J.P. felt relief that both of the older students were accepting him even though he was young. He looked toward the girl. "Yes, it stands for Jean Paul actually. It was my grandfather's name. Quite the legacy to live up to. How about you? What's your name? I also asked what house he was in" JP looking over and gesturing to the boy, realizing that he hadn't gotten his name. "What was your name again? Sorry, you must have said it but I must've forgotten." He blushed a little feeling embarrassed for not remembering the boys name.
