"From Beauxbatons. Though I'm not originally French. I'm from Australia. I spent most of my childhood in France with my grandparents," she smiled. She had enjoyed France immensely and adored her grandparents. They had been there since her Dad had always been busy with taking care of their Mum, Marcus was off Merlin knows doing what, and Simon had been at Hogwarts. "Do you go to Hogwarts? What house are you in? Do you like it?"
"You're welcome," Olly said with a smile. He would have wanted someone to do the same for him in a similar situation, and was glad to have helped the girl get her list back. He was glad to see her tuck it into her purse where it hopefully would not be able to escape again.
Olly did know about Beauxbatons of course, but he didn't know too much about it. And he didn't really know anything about Australia. But he definitely did know about Hogwarts so he was happy to answer her questions.
"I do go there and I do like it. Not the school part necessarily but it's so big and there's always so much stuff to do and so many people." He distracted himself by thinking about the castle and getting excited about going back. In fact he was so distracted he almost forgot to answer one of her questions.
"Oh, I'm a Slytherin."
