Days like today were the best thing about summer, Lilah couldn't help but think, absent-mindedly licking chocolate ice cream off the end of one of her fingers. Mornings spent at Stemp house crafting with Nana Stemp and the littlies, and afternoons with Ringo eating ice cream. She was smiling without even realising it, the thought of being roped into Saffron's "let's punish Corbin for existing" plans pushed to the back of her mind.
For now. Of course, she did want to meet Lucy properly, but couldn't imagine how awkward that was ultimately going to be, so hadn't brought it up to her eldest brother just yet. Instead she was focusing on her second eldest brother, who she got to see a lot less than she would have liked at school: it still hurt her slightly that she wasn't in Ravenclaw with him, even if apparently she was the perfect Hufflepuff.
