Connor was inclined to disagree. He had suspected back then- and he knew he was correct- that Addi had a big brain from the moment he met her on the Hogwarts express. She was just too modest to admit she wasn't. "I don't know how I could have changed you since you were already the best that you could be.'' He had been the rude and obnoxious one. Connor now laughed. "I'm glad because Koen won't be the only one screening all the boys.'' Call him a very proud dad of his son.
Connor turned to look at the person calling Addi and he smiled. He recognised the woman from work though he didn't know her that well. Gabby, he believed, is what Addi had called her. "Hi. That's Reagan Aurora Connor.'' Excuse him, he was being a proud daddy again.
Reagan was oblivious to the newcomer. Her attention was fully on her older brother, her little fist opening and closing around his nose. What was that he was saying? She didn't understand at all but she cooed and gurgled, all the baby sounds she was making echoing her happiness. It was also as though she were agreeing to sing with her brother. |
