"Hi Juno." Kitty smiled warmly at the Hufflepuff prefect as she sat down in the seat opposite of her. Both of them were finishing their first term as prefect and were now heading back. "I am so ready," she said as she finished placing her last black ribbon her hair. "Do you and Esme have anything planned for the summer??"
Then Hady stepped in, and Kitty realized with a little sadness that this would be the last (and only second) time that they rode together as fellow prefects on the train. She smiled at the head girl as she moved to sit down. "Definitely ready. Guess what? I'm going to try to get at least one Muggle friend this summer," she told both Hady and Juno. 'You know how much I love Muggle things but I realized after that lesson with Professor Stewart that I was missing out on not knowing any real Muggles. So that's totally changing this summer." Aside of course from her dad, and he didn't really count.
"Hady?" she said after a moment of silence. "Remember when you saved me and Hads from being frozen two years ago?" |
