This time, it was survival training. As it so happened, Alexa was good at this survival thing. Proven by the many times she'd come home alive from work. It was an accomplishment in itself, especially given some of the unsavoury company she sometimes found herself in. It kinda left her feeling that compared to the outside, she would always handle whatever the training through at her.

A forest. That's what it was throwing. It wasn't common knowledge, but Alexa lived in a forest, she spent lots of time there when she didn't feel like being in Madrid. This environment was almost....calming.

She liked it already.
As much as he hated admitting to himself, he was rusty. The years of being an educator and only "proper" opponents being his colleagues and the rare gifted seventh year when it came to duels had turned him a bit soft, but at least his reflexes and focus had remained sharp thanks in part to his kendo expertise and daily application of bushido code.

Looking to remedy things, Ryunosuke strolled into the training room in his standard leather jacket and jeans expecting the place to be empty so he could get through his exercise without interruption. Only no such luck was to be had, but at least he was sharing company with an Auror who - according to his observations at least - was enthusiastic about her job and wouldn't drag him down with lethargic movements.

"Great minds," he said in lieu of greeting as he twirled his wand between his weathered fingers.

Forest. Interesting choice he supposed.
