It felt good to be back at the Ministry. Penelope had enjoyed her maternity leave, of course, but the last month or two, she'd been feeling a little restless. As much as she loved taking care of Ivy (for the most part), she was definitely ready to get back into working again.

Unfortunately, she wasn't able to get to the Ministry as early as she would have liked to today since Ivy had decided to put up a huge fuss that morning. She'd finally settled down by the time Penelope had dropped her off at the Ministry daycare, but Penelope still felt a little frazzled and exhausted over it all.

Coffee was definitely needed now.

Entering the conference room, she briefly took note of the people who had already arrived - and the coffee that was available. Thank Merlin.

"Morning," she greeted them all before heading right for the drinks.
