Of course she was early for the meeting...er...if they were calling it that. It'd been a while since Gidyun had taken over MLE, nearly a month even. Given the fact the DMLES didn't go on the traditional winter break--because haha bad guys didn't go on break for the holidays--Lex had had a few chances to see her 'new boss' around the place, even if a formal introduction was never offered. Lex was still watching, still waiting to find out what she thought of him.

In the mean time, she supposed she would have to pry herself away from her work desk for this mandatory meeting thing they always seemed to have around this time of the new work year.

Hopefully it wouldn't be anything too long, she'd had plans to check out a few places with Tyler that might have brought them closer to those seemingly elusive blokes they'd been re-tracking for months.

Entering the room, Alexa wasn't surprised to find she'd been the first to arrive. Really. She'd been in the office since 5 am waiting for everyone else to trickle in and the day to begin while she caught up on case files. If nothing else, this meeting was cutting into that and forcing her on a very little--if at all--needed break.

By now, the Auror had stopped sighing every time she saw a cup of coffee she couldn't have, by-passing the steaming mugs to take her seat at the table. Just a little under 4 months to go, then she could go back to being in control of her own body; how lovely that would be. A chocolate frog was fished from her bag, as were some of her files. She'd simply keep at what she was doing til everyone else arrived. Who knew, maybe she'd even hit a breakthrough while she waited.
