He shook his head lightly and smiled as he closed up his sketchbook. "No, it's fine. Really." He had just come for a little inspiration to use in a painting later. And that could wait for when he got home or another time. It was just a sketch anyway and he kind of felt like he was done for now.
Ansley could understand how shyness could make it a little harder to make friends, and he did get a shyness vibe from Zach. And he knew about his stutter, but he found it more a cute quirk than anything else. "Well, I'm sure you'll make some more friends in no time," he smiled. Some people took longer to get to know people than others, something that he also knew for himself. And he didn't see anything wrong with that.
Zach took advantage of the situation of Ansley scribbling his address to admire his features. Of course from where he was sitting he only the man's profile. Still... it was a rather attractive profile with a prefect nose... that mouth... Damn. He was forced out of his admiration when the paper was handed over to him. "Thanks.'' Zach felt more delighted than ever and he just had to cover this up.
As long as he wasn't disturbing Ansley, he was glad to hang around for a few more minutes. The man was still determined not to occupy too much of Ansley's time. "Possibly I will. I'm not fussy though. I've learnt that the persons you're closest to can hurt you a lot.'' He hated that and wasn't keen on making too many friends until he really knew them. With the exception of Ansley. There was something different about him, Zach could tell.
He sat there for a few more more minutes taking in the peacefulness of everything. He didn't feel awkward sitting there momentarily in silence as he usually would. But then he decided he had to be going. There was that book he wanted to finish reading. "I'll see you for our lessons, Ansley. I'll leave you to your sketch and maybe you can show it to me on Thursday.'' |
