He was pretty sure the spell had been weak and wouldn't have done much, if anything at all to her. Opening his mouth, Tak spit up one more slug before speaking. "Why are you trying to kill me?"

Wiggling a little he struggled to get up but couldn't. It felt like his feet were stuck to the ground. Great. Ugh. "Finite." He mumbled, pointing his wand at his shoes. In a matter of seconds he had jumped up, on his feet again, staring at Genny on the floor. "Stand up." He wouldn't attack her again while she was on the ground.
