"Oh Jazz, you dont know how much I've longed to hear that. " She swallowed as she ran a hand through her hair.. "I.. wondered for so long if it was me who made you do away.. " She said with a sniffle as she bit her lip and wiped her eyes a bit. "Next time send an owl okay? " She said as she gently nudged his arm..

"Just so that your overthinking Ravenclaw best friend doesn't think she made you leave, yeah?"

She took a breath and as he explained and she nodded.

"Boring sounds nice. " she said with a smile, she would ease him into what had happened to her the past year.. Her mother, Chris, music schools.. "Well I'm glad you're back.. you've missed so much. " she said with a grin..

"And I'm still waiting for that drawing huh? " she said with a warm smile up at him
Maybe he didn't understand people as much as he thought he did, that was what went through his head as Azura had burst into tears despite his reassurance. Not at all happy with that turn of events he pulled her into a soft hug, giving a small squeeze before letting her go again.

Crying was not how this was meant to be going!

They were meant to be happy that they were back at Hogwarts! That both of them were around!

"I don't think you'd be able to make me leave" he commented, an amused smile playing on his lips. "Unless of course you trip and push me down the stairs, then they might have to send me to St Mungos for a bit," he joked, though he regretted it a moment later. He hoped she understood he wasn't serious.

"I promise," he told her. The thirteen year old almost offered to pinky promise, a habit from being around his sister. But he was older than that. More mature. Pinky promises were unnecessary. "Though I don't think I'll need to stay in Australia again," he added on. Not now that his mother was healthy again.

"And I'm back to stay... but hey, at least I had a summer for once," he laughed at that. It was the main problem with going to school in England when his family lived in Australia. He lived constantly in winter.

And he hated winter.

Particularly in England, the snow was terrible.

The mention of the drawing made him grin. He'd tried to get it ready for the end of year feast for first year but... that hadn't happened. But now, now he'd finished it. And he was incredibly pleased with himself for it. Seeing her again now made him realise that he had in fact managed to draw her quite well, even if she had grown up a bit since he'd finished it.

"I finished," he told her excitedly. "It's in my trunk in the common room though..."

Jasper hoped that the drawing would also make her happy.
