Nibbling at her chocolate ice cream with a spoon, she stuck her nose into her gossip magazine while she ate and wondered vividly what her boyfriend could have on his mind.

Claudy saw Luc coming well before he made his way over to her with his own sundae treat in hand. It was safe to assume without asking that he had checked that the courtyard was danger free before he came to her, a hazard of his occupation that she took with stride. Putting away her magazine she grinned lovingly up at Luc as he leaned down at peck-kiss her on the lips. "Hi Luc," she murmured as he sat down close to her, and rested a hand on her shoulder.

Reaching up to interlock her fingers with his Claudy said "I'm all right. Just a little tired. Everything has gone on non-stop since before dawn with a complicated case so I'm glad for an afternoon and night off with you."

"How has your day been?" she asked before taking another bite of chocolate ice cream.
