Then there were those that wanted to ruin the fun by casting spells. Unfortunately for the pixies some of those spells hit their mark. The class was spotted by electric blue pixies floating about. These were the ones that had been frozen.
The ones that had been missed decided to cause one last round of chaos before moving to other parts of the castle. With loud EEEEEHEHEE! they grabbed random ingredients from student cupboard. They zoomed over the humans and dropped ingredients into the cauldrons and onto their heads.
One fairy dumped a vial of armadillo bile onto NEWTON'S head before their exit. Seriously. SIRIUSLY! Stupid little buggers! Juno huffed when her spell only froze a third of the Pixies that hadn't been frozen by other students. She really needed to practice more. When the ones that weren't frozen left, she found a rather large cauldron in the corner and started grabbing the frozen ones and putting them in there. "Freaking PIXIES!" She wished Miffy and Peeves would get a grip already!
Noticing the professor was covered in armadillo bile, she sighed, "Are you ok, Professor?" AND WHERE THE HECK WAS BRI-----Is Brian frozen? She looked towards her co-prefect. Quote:

And this Hufflepuff was pretty sure that any man with a sensible scientific mind would know better than to keep a rat as a pet. Lab rats (which were actually mice, for the record) were not pets. They were subjects of humane scientific study. There was a line to be drawn and it had to be drawn, okay.
So throw flying blue THINGS into the mix, and you have one very disgruntled Hufflepuff. And with Juno casting that all-so-powerful immobulus, Brian accidentally dove right in front of the spell in an effort to get away from the blasted pixies and guess what? The spell might not have incapacitated the pixies, but they definitely put a halt to the motion of your resident sixth year.
So he supposed he'd just have to stand here.
Bugger it all, he should have dropped Potions after OWL level. Then the light bulb went off. "Oh, no! Of course, that's why it didn't work on all of the Pixies!" She put her cauldron of pixies down on a table and rushed over to her co-prefect to unfreeze him. "FINITE!!" She cast the spell, hoping she didn't hurt him. This was going to injure their already weak relationship. "I am so sorry, Brian! Are you ok?" She asked, placing a hand on his arm. She really didn't want him to hate her, she really felt like crying right now, which was odd because she never cried. Hopefully he would be understanding but, she also didn't know him that well and wasn't going to assume he would be understanding.
---------------------
Once all of the incapacitated pixies were picked up, she checked her cauldron to see if whatever those pesky buggers had been spraying around the room had gotten into her potion. Luckily, her potion was safe! It was still the light brown color it should have been. She quickly looked over the steps to see what she needed to do next. Ah, yes! Bring it back to a boil.
She lit a flame and got her cauldron to heat up. Once she got it to a boil, she grabbed her wand, and while turning her wand counter-clockwise over the potion she said the incantation, "Garrula Lingua!" Then she brought the potion down to a simmer just like the instructions said.
Afer that she added 1 leveled tablespoon of activated charcoal. She then stirred counter clock-wise, very slowly, three times. Once she was finished stirring she added a pinch of ground bezoar, then stirred the potion once counter-clockwise, removing it from the heat as she finished.
Now she had to wait patiently and let the potion cool. She watched as it slowly started changing colors. It went from a very light brown to a mustard yellow, to a canary yellow, and then finally a highlighter florescent yellow! It was so bright! She watched for a few more minutes, noting that the color had changed at all for about 10 minutes, she separated out the potion into 2 vials, one for the Professor that had her name on it, and one for herself to use. She didn't plan on using it on anyone else, so she cleaned out her cauldron, and her work space before handing in her potion.
She quietly walked towards the professor, handing him her sample. "Professor, do we need to take the potion before we leave or can we save the one for ourselves for later?" She really didn't feel like taking it right now. She had embarrassed herself enough today with freezing Brian. SPOILER!!: Babbling Beverage Notes Babbling Beverage Ingredients - 500ml Water
