Contessa dragged herself down to the Great Lake, plopping down by the tree, leaning against it. She had dropped her schoolbag down next to the spot. She picked up her parchment and quill, dipping it into her inkwell. She swished it a little but soon got distracted by the lake, watching it. She sighed and stared across the waters. Why was he walking out to the lake? It brought a mixture of good but more recently bad memories. Sighing with his hands in his pockets, Chris trudged outside and looked around to see if he could spot
her. He kept walking to their spot and stopped when he saw a figure sitting there.
He paused slightly not sure if he hoped it was her or hoped it wasn't. His feelings were so confusing. But then again he had agreed to give her a chance to woo him and quite frankly he was looking forward to that. Gathering up his courage he kept walking only to realize it wasn't her.
" Oh! Sorry...thought you were someone else." He said to the younger girl. Well...now who looked foolish. All worked up over nothing. Hmph.
