"Hello master Olly! Tinka be willin' to help master Olly if he needs! Tinka is good using whisk-y!" The little elfsy eyes grew bright in anticipation and ears flapping.
A house elf! Maybe Olly should have remembered them earlier, because a house elf would probably know where to find a cook book and he should have found one to ask. He had not made any progress on his own. All the cupboards he had opened so far only contained pots and pans and various utensils. But then a nice house elf showed up and apparently knew his name even though he did not know hers. It was a good thing house elves tended to speak in the third person.
"Hello Tinka," he said with a smile from where he was perched on top of a counter so as better to reach the higher cabinets.
"Sure you can help." He tried to think about what recipes would require a whisk. Eggs? Cake?
"Do you know where I could find a cookbook?"
