Even though the bearded dragon might sound dangerous or creepy, he was actually a great pet. Save for his tendency to go out to explore on his own. He also play well with others, as long as he didn't mistake them for food.

She glanced at Asher. It might be too large of a lizard for him to eat. Might be. Hads scratched her head and put Asher down on the seat next to her. The ferret immediately began bounding around excitedly. He sprinted up to Cornelius, sniffing him and checking him out, then arched his back and began his war dance. "He wants you to play with him."

She watched Asher for a minute, giggling softly to herself. "I think his day is looking up now that we're out of the crowds."
