She and I just got along real well since I was a kid-- she wasn’t my mom yet then-- but yeah she's just a constant presence as far as I could clearly remember. Even before I called her mom, she was always like a mom to me."

Why was Ace laughing? Did he really find her that funny? Genny was pleased and so she only grinned even wider, making that chocolate-y tooth be more visible. "Wha-- oh." She snort!chuckled then passed her tongue over her teeth to clean them. Good thing she didn't embarrass easily.

His mom with the baby?? Awww! "I didn't know your mom was pregnant! Awwww," she wiggled in her seat and got her legs up and crossed underneath her. "So this is going to be your first sibling, huh? I like babies, but aren't you scared he's gonna take all the love from you?" Because as much as she loved babies, she simply would go insane if her mother got pregnant and brought another Genny to the family. Just... no.

Oh wait a minute. So his mom wasn't his real mom? Aw. Genny smiled softly at his explanation. "Well a mom is a constant presence, doesn't matter if she's the one sharing your blood." She realized that fact quite well. It truly didn't matter. "But hey, you guys are getting a new family member, congratulations! You look so happy about it." She was going to bask in his happiness as long as he was okay with it (she wouldn't but she was not Ace).
