The blonde simply imagined that her younger sister was the one listening, for she knew Eloise would enthusiastically sing alone and sway her head from side to side. Nevertheless, the music her guitar produced kept her company just fine.

The door sliding open did make Vivian look up for a while. She squinted towards the boy who had just spoken to her, and immediately a smile followed. She knew this guy. He was rather familiar to the blonde. "Hello there! Ethan, right?" the Slytherin asked. She even remembered him with that teddy bear. Wherever was that fluffy thing, anyway? "You don't have to sit for just a while. You can stay for as long as you like." Anyway, it didn't bother her as long as he was okay with her playing the guitar, and the presence of her sleeping Kneazle.

Plus, she had food with her which she was quite willing to share.
It was only now that he noticed the guitar in her hand. Did she know how to play? Perhaps, there was something he could learn from her. Not necessarily actual guitar skills, but rather what normal people did? If that was what normal people did. It was, wasn't it? Either way, music seemed alright to him. It wasn't like he didn't listen at home, he just wasn't sure he listened to mainstream music. After all, who listened to classical music like Beethoven?

The Dixon headed for a seat beside the blonde as he answered her. "Yeah," he nodded. "Viv-vivian, right?" He remembered her name, particularly because he didn't meet people often, yet, also because his brain was good with memory, particularly logistics. As for her later comment, it really made him feel greatful. It was sweet of her,so much so, that it managed to make Ethan smile throughout his awful anxiousness. "Th-thanks. I'd like that very much," his voice was still soft as he sat down.

Then his awkwardness creeped in. What was he meant to say next?

No panicking. No panicking! He had to urge himself. There had to be something he could say...

The Kneazle! "Uh-is-isthecatyours?" his words were slurred into a mumble. So much for trying to appear all confident.
