She did not know him to be a nerd. Davie would be celebrating, but Ace?
.. huh?? "You're excited for the next holiday to see your mom?" She laughed, a little chocolate stuck on her front teeth. "That is such a great way to feel better about getting back to school, because boy are you gonna wait long." Heh. Nomnomnom. "I didn't know you were that close to your mom." She barely come up before, although to be fair they rarely had any talks before. They usually just... rode transfigued furniture together. Genny had a toothy, and Ace was chuckling. He couldn’t help himself, funky teeth was always funny to him. Halitosis not so much, but luckily Genny didn’t have any of that. "Genneh--" he interrupted for a bit as he pointed to his own teeth at where she had the extra bit of chocolate. Yeah he was nice like that. "Hey I like Hogwarts, but you said excited, and well, nothings gotten me more excited than seeing mom with the baby--" pause. Wait, would she have the baby already? Errr maths? "Or almost having the baby. Or finding out if the baby is a boy or a girl because it simply WONT SAY ANYTHING." he huffed comically. "And Dad said he's gonna talk to the Headmaster if I can go home during a weekend or something, I don’t think I can last waiting for Christmas break either."
Oh they were talking more about his mom. He nodded his head as he munched on more yummies "Yeah supah close. Well we're all super close, Dad and me and Mom. She and I just got along real well since I was a kid-- she wasn’t my mom yet then-- but yeah she's just a constant presence as far as I could clearly remember. Even before I called her mom, she was always like a mom to me." |
