He felt nervous. He hoped the boy hadn't wanted to be alone. He didn't particularly want to search the train for another seat.

The train had started to move, he watched London roll away, slowly at first so that passing objects were in easy focus, soon they had hit green countryside.

Andrei had just started to zone out when a boy who looked his age appeared infront of him, apparently at first unaware that he was there " Hi Harvey" he said with a slight smile, "I'm Andrei.... a first year too" The boy was the first fellow firstie that Andrei had met. He returned Harveys handshake and leant back into his chair, "Looking forward to school?" This was fairly good small talk by Andrei's standards.
