He was never quite sure how best to answer these sorts of inquiries, being the sort that needed to experience things first hand in order to fully understand, and he was not often the best at painting pictures with words. "Cold," he began, which was usually how he started off describing the school. "Always snow but not unpleasant." He knew quite a bit about Hogwarts, which was the only reason he did not return the question to her, because both his uncle and mătuşă were former professors. "I cannot speak all of Romania...but home is in Bucharest, capital city, and haf the best performing arts." Something he was always grateful for in regards to his flute playing. "You live here in London?"
A slow blush was now creeping up on Rachel's face. It didn't bother her that Andre held her hand. On contrary, she liked it simply because it was apart of his mannerisms. Still, she couldn't halt the process of her cheeks becoming light pink as Andrei examined their joined hands. "Īncāntat," she repeated with a slight smile, though she surely mispronounced the word. "I've learnt a new word.''
The girl listened to Andrei's replies intently, her mind observing all the information as best as she could. "Everything sounds quite nice,'' she answered with a nod. "I am unsure of the cold though. It gets very chilly here sometimes and I really do not like it. Yes, I've lived here in London all my life. It always has been home to me.'' Andrei's comment about performing arts caught her attention. "Are you involved with anything that has to do with performing arts?'' As she was asking that, Rachel was thinking of her House prefect, Rooney. She adored him and his interest in acting. |
