Hadleigh glanced at all the toppings anyhow. Just in case. It wasn't likely that she would change her mind on what she wanted but you never know. There had been a time or two in her life that she had changed her mind last minute about things. Even though she didn't speak with the younger girl much before she planned on changing that. She really needed to make a better point of getting to know Hattie. The upcoming weeks left of summer before returning to Hogwarts should help with that. "It's nice to see you too, are you here alone?" She was only asking because she didn't see anyone close by, unless they were outside waiting. Picking up one of the small scoops she poured some sprinkles onto her ice cream carefully.
Hattie really did not know what she wanted. Chocolate was good, but it sometimes got all frozen in the ice cream, meaning that she nearly broke her teeth when she tried to eat them. So she was kind of going away from chocolate based things. Maybe she would just get some sprinkles, and some strawberry sauce. That would be yummy. she liked sauce. She decided that was what she would do. She would get some like that on her mom's ice cream too. Then it didn't matter which one they got, because Hattie would probably end up mixing the two ice cream tubs up.
"My mom's outside somewhere" Harriet murmured with a smile. She wasn't really allowed to come to Diagon alley on her own yet, unless she was meeting an older friend.
"She's just gone to get a few bits from Slug and Jiggers whilst I get our ice creams" So she was kind of on her own right now actually.
