He nodded as she said they were official. "I suppose that most everyone we know probably already assumed that." It was nice having Krel around. She did make him smile, even if he was grumpy. He felt like this was more of an adult relationship than his first marriage and he was committed to making it work. He grabbed a sausage and a small roll with some cheese and went to making a sandwich. He was enjoying the simple task of putting together his sandwich when she asked about his experiment.
"Well. I'm still compiling data. I thought it would be easier using Hogwarts students to study, but they don't necessarily turn in the questionnaires when he needed them and it was hard to analyze the results. He wondered if he structured the study poorly. The teachers hadn't been much better in tracking observations. He wondered if it would be easier to go and conduct some observation directly. Surely, there was some tool in the Department that would allow him to conduct remote observation, but there might be ethics issues studying students without parental consent. "It's been a challenge. I thought when I started this particular study that we would be able to track progress more precisely, but that hasn't been the case."
