Beyond the black door is the Entrance Chamber to the Department of Mysteries. This room serves the purpose of disorientating any unauthorized personnel who enter it, making it rather difficult for them to find whatever it is they may be looking for. One who finds themselves standing in this circular room may feel like they are standing on water due to the dark marble floor that reflects the cool blue light being emitted by the torches on the wall. There are twelve handleless doors in this room, which causes the walls to rotate whenever one closes. Where exactly the doors go, only the Unspeakables that work on this level know.

If you are not an employee of this level, you may find yourself confused on what to do. Try a door if you have enough nerve, though it is highly recommended that you wait for an Unspeakable to assist you. Otherwise, simply request for the exit and the door back to the corridor will open.
