His wife had too keen an eye.Thus...his usual casual wear had been rejected for the evening and he was envious of the bloke at the entrance who clearly did not have a wife at home.
Taking a long sip from his brew of choice, Aron surveyed the dance floor with one hand shoved in his trouser pocket. Conga line? He could go for one of those, truth be told. Make him feel less ridiculous in his attire. He ought to go over and put in a request...after finishing his drink that is.

Hard to believe that it was time for another orientation and for this one she was not brand new. She also had her boyfriend with her. He was looking very handsome tonight, but when wasn't he? Even though she felt bad about leaving Violet behind she was in good hands and they would be seeing her again soon; these functions never took forever.
"Let's dance!" she said as she led him out to the dance floor, her hands squeezing his gently. Daisy was in the mood to party and it seemed that she wasn't the only one. Lots of people were already here, but it was her boss that caught her attention. "Hello! You are looking very nice," she told Aron though he didn't seem to feel very comfortable in the suit. Hmm. Must have been something that his wife had wanted him to wear. Anyway... introductions were in order.
"This is Milo, my boyfriend. Milo, this is my boss."
She wasn't going to dance, not in these heels and not in this dress. There were missions she'd gone on that would have been easier than this...this....dancing thing so Lex was set to grab her heavily loaded plate of food, sit with the others and watch this ....whatever it was--until she saw Aron.
As his glorified bodyguard, it would be remiss of her to sit around while SOMEONE ELSE DANCED WITH HIM BECAUSE THAT WAS KINDA A 'NO', YOU KNOW??????? So the moment she spotted the man, Alexa hopped up from her seat and crossed the dance floor. By now, she didn't look like she'd break an ankle walking in these heels but the young woman still hadn't mastered the art and grace of it all either. No matter, didn't take too terribly long for her to be at his side with that woman he'd replaced her with and...some other dude.
Lex barely spared her a glance at first, grinning widely at the man who'd no doubt been forced into a suit as she'd been forced into this dress.
"I've come to rescue you and you're completely welcome and probably owe me a dance for all my hard work since I don't think either Emily or Legend will like you writing me a paycheck and I can't dance with galleons anyway." That was 'hi'. It was actually a lot of things but by now Aron spoke 'Alexa' quite fluently and knew she was proper ogling and taking advantage of the situation.
Finally, she did look to the other two.
"You're Daisy...yeah?" See? She could remember names.
