Out in the corridor now, Hadley's protests got louder and more shrill in their moaning. "Take Hadley Baaack! Find book! Must find book!" She continued on that way floor after floor down to the infirmary. By the time she and Kitridge reached the hospital wing, Hadley's moans were loud enough to echo endlessly down the halls.

"Boooooooooook! Must find book! Take Hadley back to books!" If the girl could move, she'd be struggling against the restraints furiously. But as it was, Hadley just laid there, hovering in mid-air as she moaned her need to find a book.
