What… was she on about? “No, you need your History of Magic book today. If you’ve lost your Charms book, then maybe check the Lost and Found. After class.” Ansley was starting to lose his patience. She wasn’t getting out of class no matter what her excuse was. “Take your seat now, please.” It was just about time to begin.

"Oh!" he exclaimed, looking up. "Hello, Professor Finch." He hoped the teacher would forgive the late greeting. He didn't mean to be rude; he was just worried about the others!
Ansley watched the young boy enter the room and survey some of the other students before finding his seat. He was about to open his mouth to greet the first year, but the boy seemed to remember his manners after all. “Hello, Fiyero,” he replied, also sparing him a small smile.

Azura find them for song..

"Find? Eggs? Snake eggs? Azura need. Please help! " she managed to get out as she stiffly looked around.
For Merlin’s sake.

“That is enough, Azura. Find your seat.” He was no longer amused. It was time to start class.

Now there were students moving around the room, apparently looking for something and talking in a very un-normal way. What in the world was up?

Only at Hogwarts could the abnormal make things seem strangely normal. With a sigh, Janelle went to her seat and sat down. She dropped her bag on the floor and sat back, legs outstretched. Let the show begin.
The next student to arrive earned a brighter smile from Ansley. “Hello, Janelle,” he nodded as she headed to her seat. At least she wasn’t wandering around uttering nonsense. Though he would have been more impressed had she taken out her book in anticipation of class.

He glanced up at the professor, no insolence or belligerence in his expression. It had not been a 'smart-alecky' way to address the issue, but simply the most literal solution to hand.
Okay… Ansley knew that Daxton took things very literally, so maybe he should have chosen his words a little more carefully. Still the boy did what he asked and there wasn’t much harm done, so he simply nodded as he went on his way. “Alright then.” Really, it was the least of his worries with a handful of students slowly working his nerve.

"Professor is smart."

And Kitty want Moonstone.
Calling him smart wasn’t going to land the girl on his good side, especially when she was failing to follow simple direction. “That sounds like something you should talk to Professor Newton about, but we are not in Potions class, as I am sure you are aware. Now take your seat. He was starting to think that maybe his colleagues put these students up to this little prank or whatever. But he was done with it now.

And he could see that Torie was still wandering around. What was with these kids?

She was very worried about her sister. She placed her things on her desk and watched the students making their bizarre requests.

She walked over to Professor Finch, "Sir, what is wrong with them? It's really starting to scare me. They have been like this for...days." Juno wasn't the scared type. But when it came to her sister...anything that had to do with hurting her in anyway...scared her.
"Hello, Miss Darcy," he smiled. No, Ansley could not tell the identical twins apart and did not know which of the two this was, though he was glad she was displaying proper classroom decorum. He raised an eyebrow as she came over to relay her concerns. "Days?" He glanced back at the few that were not yet in their seats. "I don't know. I figured it was a prank or something, but maybe it's a prank on them." He did hear Jaemin say something about a confundus charm which could explain it, but if they were of sound enough mind to make it to class it couldn't be too concerning. He wasn't going to quickly jump to the conclusion that it was anything too serious. If there was anything that he learned from his years of teaching, it was that teenagers were often full of drama.

And even though his classroom only seemed about half full, he was starting class now. No more delays. Ansley might have to speak to a few Heads of House about students skipping class though.

"Alright, everyone... if you are not in your seats, get there. NOW." He was done with whatever game these kids were playing, it was time to start class. "Today we are going to start off talking about the Wizard's Council. What do you know about the Wizards Council?" He looked around the room a moment. "You can turn to page 212 in your textbooks and read a little bit about it there, if you are unfamiliar with it. Then please summarize something about it in your own words, or tell us something that you found interesting about it." Really, anything at all, but he needed to get the ball rolling on a discussion.
