What other people thought mattered but it shouldn't be everything. She had to find herself to understand and that was a journey only Hadley can take. Shaking his head Leo said "No I think that was all. Unless you have something else on your mind? You are free to leave and go do what you want now Hadley whether it is spending time with your friends or studying." He'd take up where he had left off even if he wasn't exactly sure what he had been doing before Haddie's arrival anymore. It'd come to him when he was alone again.

Hadley smiled but didn't say anything. She did love Wimple. And Asher. That was no secret. She could have told him that she didn't pick out the name so much as gleam it from the owl himself, but honestly, it was getting to be easier to let people assume she named things.

She shook her head. "No. Nothing on my mind. Thanks again, sir." She got up, took one more look around Mr. Kitridge's office. It still wasn't what she expected of the man. "And thanks again for the birthday cake." With that, Hadley Denaker left the office.
