Was that question for real? Gabby couldn't tell if Lynley was serious or not, but then decided that she probably WAS. "Pregnancy cravings." That was how. It was also how she could eat chocolate ice cream with pickles because she sure as heck wouldn't have been doing that if she wasn't pregnant. Her body was going through so many changes and this was one of the WEIRD ones. She was enjoying every moment, however. Well, besides the tiredness and yeah.
Eyebrow raise at the next comments. Was Lynley REALLY going there? Gabby was more tempted than ever to shove her ice cream in her friend's face but to do so meant giving up food. Instead she rolled her eyes. "Why do you think he's too old for me?" It wasn't as if he was cradle robbing her. And who cared if he was eight and a half years older? Pfft. Also she wasn't being 'rushed' into anything. "If you loved someone you would understand." Just saying. Gabby had no idea if Lynley HAD ever loved a guy before, but she was leaning more towards NO given her attitude towards relationships. Honestly she was having a hard time taking this seriously because of it. If Lynley didn't like Archer that was her loss because he was more than amazing.
And as far as the wedding went... "We didn't really invite anyone." Just did the witness thing and not bothered with the rest. It was wonderful. "We're having a party for New Years." ... Which she honestly didn't know about Lynley attending if she didn't like Archer.
