Waving to her friends, she took a seat by Kitty. "Hey!" she said happily.

"Esme!" Kitty beamed happily at Esme (though maybe she couldn't see in the dark) and moved closer to her.

"Interesting display, isn't it? I just hope this isn't going to be a karate class." Kitty whispered this of course, but her nervousness was not as bad as it was before now that Esme was with her.
