Defense Against the Dark Arts. This wasn't a class that Emma was accustomed to. At Durmstrang it was just Dark Arts.

However the class had so far appealed to Emma, she enjoyed learning spells of any sorts so she quickly acclimated to the so called defending against the dark arts that she had learned in her previous schooling experiences. Not that she was ever what would be considered a dark witch, that was just how schooling at Durmstrang went. Emma was probably the opposite of dark considering she wanted to be an Auror. She walked into the classroom and her eyes had to quickly adjust to the dark surroundings. "Hi Professor! How are you doing?" she said brightly to the professor who was standing at the front of the classroom.

The surroundings were a bit confusing as Emma debated what to do. She finally grabbed a simple cushion and sat on it. The class looked like it would be hands on, using spells, maybe dueling. Whatever it was, Emma was extremely excited.
