Accidentally.
"It's not vandalism. It's art." Seeee? That was much better than telling him to go away! The Ravenclaw even extended a wooden spoon to the other boy for paint stirring reasons. "They're too plain. Professor Myers doesn't like plain." Had he BEEN at that Herbology lesson with the costume?!
That was a surprisingly civil answer and it did make Olly feel just a bit better. But he was still wary. He took a step closer. When Rooney offered him a wooden spoon Olly just looked at it for a moment before he committed to a decision and took the offered spoon. He selected a tub of paint and began stirring.
Olly stirred quietly for a moment as he thought. It was true that the white was too plain and should be a bite more colorful. It was also true that the plainness didn't seem to suit Professor Myers. And even if he hadn't specifically okayed the project - which Olly didn't know if he had - it was hard to imagine him being too upset about it. After a moment he began to stir another tub of paint.
"Okay," he said. His gaze flickered to Rooney for a brief second before resting on the pods.
"Did you have a plan?"
