Hadley wanted to answer gagging as a thing that can effect a reading. Obviously. But the tone of the Professor's voice and the look she gave Hads kinda told the girl it was better if she said nothing. So instead, Hadley kept silent and sipped her orange juice.
Oh, and now they were meditating. Okay. Hadley had never meditated before. Should be easy though right? Clear her mind. Clear her mind. Mind clear. Clear...Maybe she doing the wand movements wrong when trying to cast a flying charm on her snowboard. Perhaps a little more flourish to the movement, or a little less. She was saying the words right though, wasn't she?

Just as she finally succeeded, the Professor called time. But hey she succeeded. A little.
