Pulling his nephew from his back he turned to look at him with his wand still raised to unfreeze the child if he hadn't duked out of the way of the spell. He really didn't mean to freeze a student let alone one of his nephews, but the child really needed to learn manners.
Noticing another student who had come up to carve pumpkins, Julien nodded "Hello Miranda, Prefect Kaycee seems to have made a very nice pumpkin carving activity for others to join in today." He hoped more students would come around. Maybe they could charm the pumpkins to hang around the castle.
First though what was he going to do with his nephew.
" I know and it's my favourite thing to do for my very favourite holiday, Sir." She beamed up at him. " I've only ever done it without the help of magic so this should be fun." She was so excited that she started to walk away before the professor had a chance to answer her. She couldn't beileve it. She had to thank the beautiful day for forcing her outside today , Otherwise she may have missed this chance to not only have a blast but maybe even learn something useful to so her younger siblings.

But hey. That sounded like a shout of for having a great idea. So she'd let this situation slide. How much problems could an immobilized relative cause?
" Thank you," Miranda said with a huge dorko smile. "She found a spot on the tarp and chose what she thought was the perfect carving pumpkin..... mmmkay. Now how much longer could it be... Miranda hated waiting... so she filled the air with her incessant talking.
" My name is Miranda by the way. My friends call me Randa or Randi. Which ever you like so long as it isn't my full name... I absolutely hate my name...How many others do you think will come?"
